We Have Winners For #indianfoodpalooza

One month ago my friends Prerna at Indian Simmer and Barbara at Creative Culinary  and I decided to get together and throw a month long Indian food extravaganza which we called #Indianfoodpalooza, because as everyone knows if you add palooza to anything it ups the fun quotient. We asked everyone to step out during the month of March and try their luck cooking an Indian dish. We provided some resources, suggestions, and of course prizes! Because you also cannot have a Palooza without prizes...,probably porta-potties too if I recall, but this is the internet and neither here and certainly not there.

Well, March is gone April's here and it's now time to announce our winners. All the entries looked mouthwateringly delicious, and since licking the screens of our monitors didn't work, we chose our winners using Random.org

Here they are, as the random squirrels tossed them to us:

Madhur Recipe's - Mixed Vegetable Curry in Coconut Milk Sauce- Tropical Traditions Coconut Flour

Kitchen Kemistry- Tangdi Kabab- Tropical Traditions Dried Coconut

Spices And Aroma- Omelet Kozhambhu- Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil

Sunshine And Smile- Khandvi- Set of Spices

50 Recipes in 2012- Stuffed Eggplant- Chopping Block  from Creative Culinary

Congratulations to our winners! Big thanks to everyone who participated. And of course many, many thanks to the kindness and generosity of our prize donors:

Coconut oil, coconut flour and shredded coconut from the good people at Tropical Traditions
If the winners of the Tropical Traditions Coconut products will get in touch with me , I'll get their prizes to them.

A J.K Adams Artisan Maple Cutting Board from Creative Culinary

An Indian Spices Set from My Spice Sage

Coming up next, I'm  finally getting around to that Green Mango Rice and another giveaway follow along on Twitter @kathygori

      1. Hi Kathy,
Thanks for declaring the winners of Indianfoodpalooza. I'm a newbie blogger and this is my first time to win anything via food blogs. It was fun participating in this event. My husband started complaining that I cook for participating in Indianfoodpalooza cos after preparing something I would make it wait till it was photographed and link it to your event site. Once again thanks to you, barbara and prerna for hosting this fun event. Congratulations to all the winners and better luck next time for all the participants. All the submitted recipes were amazing :) Happy Blogging folks!
